About Us

JT Maskell & Sons was founded in 1948 by John Maskell and based in a yard on Fulham High Street. Initially refrigeration was the main focus, with air conditioning services added in the 1970's.

 

In 1977 Johns sons - Richard & Bruce - took over and formed Maskold. Initially a partnership, and then later as a Limited company. Along the way the company moved to Revelstoke Road SW18, and then to the current location in Wimbledon Stadium Business Centre in 1987.

 

Richards daughter Kim started working for Maskold in 1992 and was then joined by Bruces daughter Cassie in 1997. Zal joined the business in 2000 to help Richard run the installation side of the business.

When Richard and Bruce retired Kim, Cassie and Zal formed Maskold Environmental and took over the business, operating from the same premises.

With the change of ownership, Maskold set about updating its systems and processes. This has resulted in Maskold becoming Daikin D1+ Premium Partners and a Mitsubishi 3 Diamond dealer.

In 2017 Maskold achieved ISO9001:2015 certification for Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems.

Maskold are currently working towards achieving ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System to improve our environmental performance.

From starting out in 1948 with one person, Maskold now has a team of service engineers and dedicated installation engineers all supported by an office team ready to assist you with your requirements.
